8 October – 28 February | Wed–Fri, 4–8pm | DJs 4–8pm
This spring and summer marks a new chapter for the Museum of Sydney forecourt. Bridge Street Social brings a Heineken-branded pop-up bar to the heart of the city — a new cultural and social hub where Sydney comes together.
The pop-up pours straight from the Heineken airstream — a bar built for long afternoons and easy refills. Outside, tables and umbrellas fill the forecourt so you can sit back in the sun while DJs set the soundtrack. Wings, fries and share plates keep the table full, and the afternoon rolls easily into evening.

Right on the Museum of Sydney forecourt. No bookings, no fuss — just walk up, grab a drink, and let the city set the pace.
The Museum of Sydney stands on the land of the Gadigal people, whose deep history stretches across millennia. Preserved beneath the museum and its forecourt are the foundations of Australia’s first Government House – the residence and office for the first nine governors of NSW from 1788 to 1845, and the social, ceremonial and political centre of the colony. These foundations are some of the earliest remains of British colonisation in Australia.
